In July, PyGRAZ collaborates with the UX Graz group and dives into the world of UX and UI design. We are going to expand our skill sets and knowledge, and learn how to collaborate with designers even better.
The event is as a mix of presentation and open discussion. Thomas Aglassinger shares his experience about quickly getting to a design without dedicated designers in the early phase of developing a new web application using the Python Django framework. Methods for this include having a "minimum viable" design system, a high degree of automation when generating early user interfaces and ruthlessly moving complexity from web forms to other constructs.
We are also going to literally "see" how major changes in the data model impact the amount of work and pain developers have to face. Without having to take a look at the actual source code, thanks to certain tools we can visualize this as diagrams and movies.
The event concludes with a networking session, for which we will change the location to a nearby tavern.
Meeting starts at 18:00!
